Nadi Pariksha Wellness Report

Inside the Nadi Pariksha Wellness Report

Every part of the report screen your practitioner sees after a short wrist reading, with a sample member’s values: the wellness score, then the Overview, Mind, Food and Therapies tabs, then the PDF.

  • Wellness score
  • 6 scored areas
  • English or Kannada

The score is a wellness score, not a medical measurement: the app reads the pulse or the tongue photo and the answers, and never invents a number without them.

In short: Heat in the Stomach is reaching the Lung, which the reading links to a dry throat, hard stools and restless sleep after late nights. Immunity, emotional balance and rejuvenation are holding up well.

Body balance

Section 3 of 12 · Sample member

What it tells you

Overview tab

Where the body sits between two extremes, such as dry and damp, and whether it moved closer to balance since the last visit.

Middle is balanced

  • Energy

    Slightly restless

Energy runs a little ahead of the body: quick starts, then a dip in the afternoon. Closer to balance than at the last visit.

Closer to balance since your last visit

  • Circulation

    Balanced

Warmth reaches the hands and feet evenly; nothing to change here.

  • Fluids

    Running dry

Heat is drawing fluids away: a dry throat and thirst for cold drinks. Further from balance than at the last visit.

Further from balance since your last visit

  • Muscle

    Slightly stiff

A little tightness in the neck and shoulders after long days; gentle stretching keeps the body moving easily.

Further from balance since your last visit

  • Elimination

    On the slow side

Hard stools go with the dryness above; cooked, hydrating food is the first thing the report suggests.

  • Choppy · rough and irregular
  • Slippery · smooth and rolling like pearls under the fingers
  • Full Rapid · forceful and accelerated

Read together, a choppy, slippery and full rapid pulse describes a pull between internal heat, a build-up of dampness and fluids that are running low. The rest of the report follows that thread.

Five elements

Tongue reading

What it tells you

Overview tab · Tongue sessions only

The tongue photo, the written reading, the zone map and how much each pattern shows on the tongue.

A red tip with a thin yellow coat at the centre, and a slightly dry surface. The reading links the coat to heat in the Stomach and the dryness to the Lung it feeds.

Your main patterns

Section 7 of 12 · Sample member

What it tells you

Overview tab

What the reading points to: the main focus, then the secondary and tertiary patterns, each with its level.

  1. MAIN FOCUS

    Level: High

    Lung

    Metal elementYin

With heat reaching it from the Stomach, the report links this meridian to a dry throat and a dry cough in hot weather.

  2. SECONDARY

    Level: Moderate

    Stomach

    Earth elementYang

Where the heat in this pattern begins, which the report connects with acidity, thirst and a liking for cold drinks.

  3. TERTIARY

    Level: Mild

    Liver

    Wood elementYin

A milder finding, which the report associates with irritability and restless sleep after late nights.

Each pattern is named by its meridian and scored at one of four levels, Healthy, Mild, Moderate or High, so a member can see at a glance how strongly the reading points to it.

What it tells you

Mind tab

The mental habits that tend to travel with this reading, and small steps for the mind and routine to try.

Quick to react

Racing mind

  • Restless
  • Irritable
  • Impulsive

With this much heat the mind tends to run ahead of the body: a tendency to react quickly and tire of waiting, to start things at speed and to feel irritable when they slow down. The report traces it to the Stomach heat above and suggests a cooler, slower evening.

Try this

Small steps for your mind and routine

  • Three slow breathsBefore answering a message that annoys you, pause for three slow breaths and see whether the reply still needs sending.
  • A cooler eveningDim the lights and put screens away an hour before bed, so the day has somewhere to cool down.
  • Walk in the cooler hoursA slow evening walk rather than a hard midday workout; moonlight walks are the report’s own suggestion.
  • Name the rushWhen you notice yourself hurrying, ask what would be lost by waiting ten minutes. Often nothing.

Food metabolism

What it tells you

Food tab

How the body is handling each food group: carbohydrates, protein and fat, from low to balanced to high.

LowBalancedHighCarbs · Steady paceBalancedProtein · Working hardSlightly highFat · Slow to useLow
  • Carbs · Steady pace

Carbohydrate-rich meals are being handled at a comfortable, even pace; the usual varied meals can carry on.

  • Protein · Working hard

Protein is being pushed through quickly by the heat, which goes with a sharp appetite and thirst after a heavy meal.

  • Fat · Slow to use

Fat lingers rather than being put to use, so fried and oily food tends to feel heavy and keep the heat in.
